Well, I've had tech support on the phone for the last hour - thanks to all who suggested that approach. We fixed a lot of things, but now I don't know how to find "Ad Blocker" in order to disable it. I'll try Internet Connections... see you all later!

Peter, not sure what browser your using but personally I prefer Mozilla Firefox over I.E.
It seems to do a lot better with pop ups and such.

Well, I just used Mozilla Firefox for the first time, all the ads and avatars are there, but it won't let me post... I guess that I have to find my Rennlist file and do a sign on refresher???

Peter,
I doubt it is an ad or pop-up blocker. But to be sure - go into IE, click on TOOLS in the top menu bar and then scroll down to POP-UP BLOCKER turn it off. Again, I doubt it is the answer but give it a try.

If that doesn't work, check what you have installed recently. Sometimes the problem can be caused by an add-on program such as Google or Yahoo tool bars or shareware / freeware. Uninstall anything that you installed recently that isn't a commercial product (i.e. Word, Norton, etc.). Does it work now? Remember to close down IE7 and start it up again for changes to take effect.

If not, go to http://www.java.com/en/ and download the latest java driver. And perhaps BEFORE going to java I would go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/dow.../getitnow.mspx and make sure you have the most current IE SERVICE PACK (SP2) installed.

Same for Windows XP or VISTA (whichever is your OS). Click on START in the lower menu bar; then PROGRAMS and on the top of the list should be MICROSOFT UPDATE. Click on it and set it up for automatic updates to keep the system current. Again, Microsoft and IE are constantly under attack because it is the defacto computer standard so hackers want the most bang for their buck - no reason screwing with a program that only 1% of the world uses. Anyway, that's about all I can do without having you on the other end of the phone. Andrew

Yep, just re-sign in Pete! I am sure they had you clear your cookies, so when you went to Rennlist, it did not remember you (but we all do) :-) Welcome to the high speed age!

Now I can say yeehaw! again. I'm signed on to Firefox, have advertisers and avatars, and am communicating! But, I have one more question (I know, there's always "one more question..."), my laptop has a wide screen, and AT&T/Yahoo! and I.E. both come up in a wide format. The Firefox only uses about 2/3 of the screen, is there a way to make it come up full screen?

And, of course, thank you everyone!
