Read about the Rotas on Pelican. Here's a pic. 8s and 9s in 15 would be nice.

BTDT-you want to watch how much you add to your unsprung weight. Many of the Cup wheels etc that are cast weigh upwards of 24-26 lbs each! -though are cheaper to buy.
I ended up having Fikse make up a set of 7.5x17 front and 9x17 rear. The Fikses are the closest thing to lightweight next to fuchs (no 17" fuchs, though, unless you do Lindsey's surgically made ones from 16" centers).
Fikses weight around 17 lbs each-fuchs are a pound or so lighter.

Hope this helps,

Nick

Default wheels

i have 9.5 by 17s with 285/40 on the rear of my car. wheels are by lindsey and are light in weight, especially compared to the ruf wheels.

Here are my Rota Fox's w/ Hankook 245/40/17s and 215/45/17s. I love them!

What is the backspacing on your 9.5" rims? It looks like you have SC/Carrera flares in the rear. What clearance mods were required to fit the 285s?

Default wheels

i will have to look back in my notes. the centers that lindsey uses are very close on the backside to larger brake calipers. i run 930 front calipers on the rear and s4s on the front. i use a quarter inch spacer on the rear. i do not have the usual oil lines in the rear as this car has a dart all aluminum 434 sbc engine making almost 600 hp. the naca ducts feed air to the oil cooler located in the rear passenger seat area properly enclosed and vented with fans to the underside of the car. the 285s are very close, but 275s should provide more than adequate clearance.
