Default 1978 Targa interior

Does anyone know the correct Porsche color for my interior? Sorry no pic as it in the shop for an alternator! In the 78 sales brochure it is the featured vinyl interior, kind of a blochy orangish leather look with tan pinstripe cloth inserts. I am in the process of having Lemans in New Zealand sending me 2 yards of material for the recovering of the 2 front seats. Thanks for any help

It's most likely Cork. I would use GAHH in Ca. (www.gahh.com) I've ordered material from them in the past and it was a exact match. They will also send you a sample to check against your car before ordering material that does not match/wrong color.

Yes, I would say cork. The 911 Red Book says 1978 interior colors were: leatherette in lobster, cork, or black; and leather in yellow, light green, blue, cork, black, lobster, light red, and white.

Here is lobster. It is really orange.

If your interior is a variegated tan color, that is cork.

yes I would agree it is cork vinyl, I don't think Gahh has the cloth but perhaps I could always just match the vinyl thanks for the help
