i hope you can see what i'm talking about in the photos.
it's my mechanic's car. i took the shots today. he took it from a wreck trashed shell to an absolutely immaculate 74RS spec and look and spent so much time, love and energy on it (and still does to keep it top notch).
Then some hooligan deeply keys every single panel on the car, even the rear wing. how can people do that???? Drives me nuts to see it and it's not even mine. makes me sick.

i guess people don't see passion, blood, sweat and tears they see a shiny porsche and get jealous. but to do that to someone's car you have to be seriously f**ked up.

i hope he brings it back again, i reckon he will in no time. (metallic paint too - tricky. it must be so annoying. )

It's difficult to even think of finding a bright side to this, but the fact that the cretin scratched every panel means the insurance co. will have to pay for a complete repaint rather than sticking the guy with just one or two panels repainted (almost always resulting in a mismatch over time).

ooh - I didn't even think of that angle - getting a full paint job for the cost of a deductible. Hmm. Not saying it's the case here, but if I were an insurance agent, I'd be skeptical.
