I could weigh it possibly. I am more interested in finishing the job first, if you have any input on those last two hoses and/or the heater backdate let me know.

dang it, wrong part, but I'm getting closer.

this is it:

From what I understand the item on the left is the one you want. this is a side view so it looks a little different than the top view seen in the finished engine shown above. PP may have it in stock and ready to go today.

back to the A/C ....It looks like you are doing great and have gotten way beond what I could have done so quickly

Oshin I would be happy to email you my picture of all the bits I got out but you've elected not to receive emails.
Also, with the backdate of the heater and pictured block-off plates/ducts, be carefull here. Automotion say that they fit all models from '65-'89. This would only be true if they manufactured the left side fitting with the recess for the larger diameter distributor introduced in the Carreras from '84. I think I got mine from Parts Heaven last year- $165 the pair. You can see this recess in KC's photo of his engine bay on page 1.

Oshin, sorry I couldn't talk tonight my nine year old crashed by herself in moto one in the second turn while in the lead. It was the state final pre-race down in Kerny Mesa. She went on to win the main and just smokes everyone....

Yes, the smugler's box is a pain....hope you got everything done we talked about.

Project Complete----Time taken...about 11 hours. Real time taken - 2 days. Fun project, now I just have to wait for the new backdated heater parts to arrive. Could not remove A/C compressor bracket because it would not be worth the trouble to take it out. I'll probably take it out when I drop the motor out for a clutch replacement or a valve seal replacement. Thanks for all the help guys!

I managed to extract mine by backing the muffler strap brackets right off and wrestling with it for a while. Can't remember exactly but I may have had to back off a few others as well but I eventually got it. Well done Oshin.
