Hey Russell. I'm still running the Autobahn and jealous of the fact that you paid less for the 911 than I did for the 951.
I'm curious as heck to see what power you will be pushing out with that thing in a month or so. Hopefully at least as much as a stock 951. JUST KIDDING FOLKS

Let us know all about the journey home and your initial thoughts on this beauty. Those are some of the greatest Porsche stories.

HAVE A FANTASTIC WEEK EVERYONE!

Well I made it home last night about 12ish, have MUCH to write about the trip and my first impressions of the car. First thing that come to mind when comparing it to a 944 Turbo.

The 951 lets you drive better, the 911 makes you a better driver. I could run over a hair and tell you if it was blonde or brunette. I've ALWAYS wanted this kinf of feedback from the wheels, I love it!

Night shot in front of The Only Cafe in Vernon, NY on the way back last night:

The hook was set a few hours after starting the trip home! But today I got to take her for a spirited drive. Naturally not as violent as a hot lap on the track, but I just told my brain (weight in ***, foot to floor in curves) and off I went. Now the hook is buried deep within my bowels. I can't wait to start tuning! First I have to get an appointment at the dyno and get the completely stock baseline runs, make sure the engine is in good health, etc. Then probably next week I'm going to start playing! Actually I'd like to see anyone else's stock 3.2 dyno readouts if anyone has any they would like to share.

I'll keep you posted...

Regards,
Russell

For comparison, here's my 3.4, in blue, compared to Ralph's 3.5, in red, compared to a bone stock 88 3.2 with a euro premuffler and stock chip, in green.
