Default Hi--Im new.

Howdy-

The quick basics. I'm 23, live in DC, work for a dealership and I have a great dane.

And I own this 1970 911S with a built 2.7 swap. And I like it, a lot.

how did you get a parking space so close to the Capitol? heck, I never found a spot inside the beltway, let alone in front of the Smithsonian.

welcome aboard...

Welcome, and looks like a nice "Outlaw"! Drive it like you stole it!

Lots of good advice on this Forum, from super knowledgeable folks...

The "Other" 911 oriented Forum tends to be, how can I say this nicely, "Dominated" by bullying Know It Alls...
You know, it's their way or the highway...

I don't think you will find that here! So feel free to jump in, ask questions, and enjoy your neat Porsche!

I used to be a DC tourguide and got in good with Capitol Police. And thats not the Smithsonian. Im actually in front of the National Botanic Gardens. Sorry, Im **** with tourguide stuff.

That photo was really for my grandmother, so she can show her friends her Grandson's new toy and remember where I live. ha.

The car is an original S and has the 2.7 swap with some goodies in it. Not quite RS spec, but eventually. No MFI, all webers. Short geared 901. Roll bar, recaros, 72S front spoiler, ducktail. NO rust. Adjustable Koni's, 16" fuchs, needle bearing control arms. And a bunch of other stuff. I got it from a friend who had built it a few times, so Im not sure of everything.

I thought that it was one in the same. sorry. did you ever get to go up into the dome of the capital or on the underground trains that runs around from the senate office buildings to the capital and to the house office buildings. I got some pritty nice insider tours when I was there. I still remember the roasting they gave Oliver North the fall of '86. what a great town.

HAHA. I was 2 in 1986.

Sorry...

But yeah, I have talked my way into quite a few cool places. The reason I am cool with Capitol Police is because they arrested me once for leaving a suspicious package. Long story.
