Default Alarm type and fiter recommendations (south England)

Hi

Its about time I updated the alarm in the C2 cab. Any recommendations on fiters in the south. I am in Jersey (Channel Islands for our US cousins) so may roll it in with a trip to the UK.

Looking for Cat 2, with remote for central locking the doors. Any suggestions on type (cost)??? and who fits in the UK (south preferably).

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob,

Assume your Cat 2 is a Porsche fit - why not go for a full Cat 1? Porsche Centres were offering this service at one time.

Personally wouldn't let retro fitters near my 911 - did this a few years ago with a 930 and they left all the old stuff behind, very messy. Of course personal recommendation always helps but these companies tend to be here today gone tomorrow.

Hi PJC

Thanks for that, I might go local, will cost more but at least I know they are trustworthy.

Cheers
Rob
