I know this will sound stupid, but I'm a recent Porsche owner ('85 Targa). I've seen several reference to Excellence. What is it (I'm assuming a magazine/newsletter) and how does one get one?
TIA

A superb magazine with 8 issues anually. Call 415-382-0580. A great investment for $20.00 per year. You can generally find it at Borders, Waldens and the bigger book stores.

Steve,
Just received my October's edition of Excellence ("the magazine about porsche"). Excellence is published nine times a year (Feb.,April, May, June, August, September, October, November & December). Subscription rates are $23 for one year, $40 for two years, $56 for three years in the U.S. If you're in Canada, you'll pay more (in U.S. dollars).
To subscribe write to: Excellence, Circulation Dept., P.O. Box 1529, Ross, CA 94957.
The most recent issue contains a nice article about Rick DeMan's 914-6 GT, which ran around the Lime Rock track at the recent Rennsport Reunion. My 911 is serviced by DeMan.
Good luck!
