Post Jack at the track?

What do you use to jack up your car at the track? A regular floor jack would be nice, but lugging one to the track is a hassle, although I see that some folks do that. The factory jack is a bit wimpy and slow. Any middle ground here?

Go to your FLAPS and buy one of the 3 ton floor jacks that comes in a plasitic carrying case. I think I paid about $50 for mine? Also - get a "jack pad" from a Rennlist Sponsor (blatent endorsement - and these "pads" fit into the jacking tubes on the lower rockers) so you can change both wheels on a side at the same time.. However - look carefully at the "pad" on the floor jack - and be sure it is large enough to fit over the jack point on the underside of the car. Finally - invest in a hockey puck to put between the jack pad and the car, if necessary...

Tom does not fabricate. In fact I've seen his Jack in the lead on several occasions, especially in areas where known radar traps are probable.
