Drop Links are both side the same?

Drop Links are both side the same?
Rear Sway Bar Drop Link. After doing an inspection today I noticed that the one on left (driver) side is way out of shape compaired to the right side. It is oblong as opposed to round on right side. It is very distorted and I can not imagine what could cause this.
