I saw that car (unless there's two)!!! I was in Montreal for the F1 Grand Prix in 2002 and it was parked on a street in downtown Montreal with a few other P-cars. Trust me...that thing was gorgeous and had a crowd around it constantly.
Great score!
Enjoy.

where did you get those airfilters for the MFI. I've been looking for those for my 2.4. That car is SWEET! Maybe mine will look like that someday. Better start rolling pennies again.
Thanks,

Grant,
I posted this question a few days ago but it seems to have been removed.
I have the same 2.7 RS engine in my '74 and I noticed you have a hose missing. The one that comes off the left heat exchanger and delivers hot air to the MFI Thermostat. My car is missing the same hose and runs very rich. (I just bought the car). When I spoke to the previous owner he said the car never ran well with it installed and seemed to get bogged down.
I was curious about the reason for your's being missing. Any ideas?
Thanks
Tristan

Lefty - I have racing headers w/o heat exchangers (for now). There is an electric heating element that warms up the MFI sensor to lean the mixture. I'll be putting on SSI's for the winter...
Michael - It was great to meet you too

Yes, that's the car in Excellence (October issue). I'll try to take a few more pix. Here's a link with some pics and there is another link to more pix in one of the responses.

It's an amazing car, and very "together" in terms of how he developed his theme in designing the color patterns, etc.
Do you know how much wt. was saved with the various changes? Not overall, but how valuable each one was?
Also, Excellence said the dash was carbon fiber but I couldn't see that in the photos -- is it CF on the underside?

Randy - I only know that 87lbs of undercoating was removed and about 300 lbs was saved from the change from steel to CF body panels. The dash is only a thin shell (feels like plastic, but maybe it is cf (can't see the underside without removing it).

Thanks Grant -- let me know how to gt those attachments to you. The article on your car inspred me to strat adding the wt. saving "methods" in your car and Jim Calzia's car to my table of factory techniques in the RS, R, etc.
