That's awesome, Ed. Great choice of accent color. Arrow blue?

..she arrived finally on a horrible gray day in the docks but that didnt matter.
think my reaction says it all 'wow!!?!!!!!??!!'

beyond perfection. its amazing. perfect!
shame it was raining. i love it. after driving it think i found the car i wanna keep my whole life. its not the fastest, its not the loudest, but i really really reaaaaalllllyyy love it. i just wanted to share my happinesss...
yippeeee! best feeling in the world!

i tracked the first owner
heres him the day he bought it in 69

we've been liasing a lot. he used it everyday for 30 years. hes 74 now and a really nice guy.
when it arrived i found a lucky quarter in the back of the ash tray.
i asked him about it and he said he left quarters in there for the car park when he played tennis.
i said i'd leave it there forever, i'd like to think its his. still there unfound after a resto and 2 other owners.
sh*t. now i gotta change my username on rennlist and sell the other one.
sooo happy!!

Paul,
Thanks so much for sharing the great photo montage, especially including the first owner! You are a great example of what a true Porsche guy is all about...body, mind, emotions, soul, sweat, blood and wallet! May you have a million happy miles!

A great thread. I had a sepia brown 73.5T but always had a crush on the early orange cars. I've made up my mind to own one at some point.

love that continental orange car and site

cheers doug also

just had my first full weekend with legal plates on.
it's so great, i'm really really happy with it and had so much fun.

i found that bright orange cars attract little fruit flies in the summer.
if theres 3 cars in a row they'll all sit on mine!
i hope that doesnt mean the car's sh*t!! (maybe it's my deodorant?)

heres some self-indulgent **** yippee

let's see some more...

Congrats on the purchase and delivery of your great looking Tangerine long hood. I know having this car in Denmark is very expensive but you will be the envy of many others as you blast around. Enjoy!

BTW, Here is my Tangerine early car.

Also have another orange one, this one Signal Orange.

thank you brian, i think porsches are worth every penny in their smile/schoolgirl-like-giggle generating value. in that sense i consider them inexpensive in denmark.
you have a very beautiful orange set - wow.
signal orange is such a beautiful color on a longhood targa and RS cars that are not white are always really exciting and special to see.
