Default Oil consumption

I am new to this site, but I have a question that I hope can maybe be answered. I have a 2001 911 turbo with 25k miles. I dont drive it too hard, at least in porsche terms anyway. I put about 70 miles a week on it, driving it 2 or 3 times a week. My question is that the car consumes about 2 quarts of oil between 5k mile oil changes. Is this normal, or do I have anything to possibly worry about? Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like valve guides but you would be better checking on the water cooled forum. there is a section for later 911s

One quart in 2500 miles is not bad.

Yeah, no worries - especially being a turbo. we should all be so lucky to have an oil interval of adding one qt per 2500 miles....

Guess I'm lucky, mine's not bad (runs to find some wood to knock on).
