Default Oil leaks in car that sat for 5 years

Now that I know what tires to buy since the old ones were dry rotted. I will get a new air box and if the previous owner was correct, that was all that went wrong with the car, and thus the reason why he quit driving it for 5 years.

Only problem is, it now has oil leaks. Is it time for a complete rebuild or are there easily accessable seals that can be replaced without pulling the engine?

Note: The car only has 20,000 miles since it was re-built (according to the guy I bought it from, it looks it too).
Thanks,
Roger

My apologies. I forgot to mention that the car is a 77 Targa with a 2.7. The split line on the case does not seem to be leaking.

Don't worry about the oil leak 'till you have 1,000 miles of hot temp. driving behind you. it could be as simple as oil return line, very simple. if it is pooling gallons of oil, fine panic, but drops, say under 20, relax she is just marking her spot. very good looking car. drive it.

This is the kind of response I was hoping for. The oil does not "flow" out currently, but I was hoping that a few temperature cycles would help solve the problem. Thanks for the response. I am really looking forward to driving this beast.

Douglas is correct. Start driving that new baby and get a feel for how it is going to react to having sat for a while. Dont concern yourself with what MAY happen yet. If troubles occur, you will find lots of help/assistance online. Good luck with it!
