I agree Douglas and of course that was exactly how it went; watching eBay for many items, purchased things there along with items from Vendors as I went, had my list made for what I would be needing, then getting them as things progressed. On such a long term restoration and by speading it out, the 'shock' to the wallet is much less traumatic.
I now basically have a NEW (mechanically), 1969 911, with several nice upgrades.
