Indy. F1. Michael won it 5 times, should have been 6. Who will take it from here; Kimi?, Quick-Nick?, Felipe?, Fernando?, the rookie?, or will something completely unexpected happen? What a year! Tune in on Sunday, I'll be in the Grandstand at turn 1 screaming my head off!
I believe Pete means when Michael backed off a bit one year so he and Rubinho could cross in tandem with Michael 'just' winning, but Rubens apparently didn't know he was going to do that and was full-throttle and won the race, launching another round of "Ferrari fixes races" (which they did, and Spoonface loved his team orders, but that's another thread ;-)

ice: Yes, Michael slowed for a photo-op, and Rubens must not have known (how, I don't know!) about the move, pulled off line and pulled ahead by a nose just before the finish line. Anyway that's history, but Michael is going to get to drive a Ferrari at Magny-Cours - no, not Kimi's car! - he does a lot of charity work and will be giving rides. Man, I wonder how much a couple of laps with him costs?!? Somehow I think that those laps might just be priceless.
Well, I got to see Lewis Hamilton drive. At this point in his very young career I would have to say that he's really good, maybe even special. It's possible that all the stars are aligned, McLaren has built their best car in many years, and that best car suits Hamilton's driving style more so than Fernando's. Whatever the case may be, his demonstration at Indy was amazing, his hands are so smooth and quick, and there is very little fuss in corners. Ferrari, BMW, and the rest, as well as a certain two-time world champ, have really got to get their act together, and they better start soon.
