Default Boot replacement to turbo tie-rods

The boots decayed after two years on turbo tie-rod kit. Have new boots and planning replacement.

I think I may be able to get the new boot over the tie-rod end. That would eliminate re-alignment. (This would not work with standard tie-rods, I know.)

Can anyone confirm or deny this ?

Also 'dust boot' on the ends are shot. I got general replacements at Napa that look like right size.

Do you know the ~ bolt diameter of the tie-rod end ?
