Remove invisable bra?

I'd check near a corner to see if it's pressure sensitive vinyl (i.e. no adhesive) As an adhesive researcher I can tell you that very few removable adhesives stay removable after long periods of exposure to the weather. Either they fall off or go permanent which in you case would probably pull the paint off with it. My guess is it's the non adhesive type, like the vinyl "stickers" kids put on windows.

I had the same thing on mine when I bought it. It took me about 45 minutes to get the piece off of my hood. I started in a corner and slowly peeled it off using my finger nail to scrape it along. I used lighter fluid (same ingrediants as most adhesive removers and a fraction of the price) to break down the adhesive that was left after peeling it off. As always, wash and wax the car immediatley after applying any type of solvent to the paint.

Put the car in the sun for a few hours to let the strip and metal heat up first. Peel it off slowly. I like wurth citrus solvent degreaser to remove the adhesive residue, then polish and wax.
