Default Cab Top internal liner replacement

I am desperately in need of help !!
The top of my 88 911 Cab is in great condition but the roof liner inside has a few tears in it and I would like to replace it. Does anyone have any infomation or past experience in what is involved to do the job. I have had a bit of a look but realy do not know where to start. My "Beltley service manual" makes no mention of Cab tops. Any info would be appreciated.

I am having my liner replaced as we speak for $300. Ask your shop where to find a reputable conv top shop. I received 2 quotes for $300. My top is also in good shape.

I just ordered one from GAHH myself, for my '84 Cab. I'll be asking the guy who's doing the 2 front seat skins over (same guy who re-sewed the zipper on the rear window) to do the job if hes' fairly reasonable.

I'm on my second top and the liner both times deteriorated before I had to replace the top. The tops seem to last ~10+ years on daily driver.

Both times just removed frayed liner knowing a top was in it's future.

I bought a new liner shortly after buying the car. The one in the car started to break and needed replacement.

But instead I have held back on replacing it waiting to do it at the time I replace the top... I did end up pulling out the old liner. So I think it will be a couple of years before I get everything done at once...
