Oversteer feels different than most cars when done in a 911. It is much more controllable, which is what a lot of people will not tell you. Maybe because they haven't ventured there. But if you do, you will find that it is very controllable. First because it happens sooner than most cars. In a lot of cars you start to wonder when it is going to happen. Not in the 911. It just happens slightly and progresses from that point. This allows you to see it and work with it instead. This is a lot like driving a kart or even a formula ford. The same techniques apply. In a 911, unless you have massive power, oversteer will be more of a factor at the middle or even entry of the turn than in the exit. On conventional cars, it is the opposite. You will see more of it on the exit under power. And in a conventional car, unless you have massive negative camber in the front, trail braking really helps the front bite at the turn in. In a 911, it is seldom necessary. You just turn in and voila. Unless you are going very slow, as in an autocross, getting the front to bite is seldom a problem. Throttle steering is part of life in a 911. But the 911 is a great teacher of these disciplines.
