It's hard to say, but it looks like a decent car. You should be able to find a decent SC for about $15,000. Before you buy it, get a PPI and compression/leakdown test.

I would have someone check it out inperson if you ae interested.

I noticed it has SSI's

It was repainted over 10 years ago so at least you can tell how well it's holding up.

Been in storage since 94- has it driven any time between 1994 & 2007?

Looks nice from the photos.

BTW, I think the SC is the best value buy compared to a 3.2 or 964. While all these cars are affordable, the oldest ones have the best chances of going up in value, IMO.

I dont think any of them are good investments and I dont expect any of them to go up in value significantly or at all in the next couple years. I am a big 964 fan and I think they're great values now but I was looking at something a little different

I don't like the panel's gaps...the hood, driver's door and even engine lid...I bet there are tons of body work done on this one...

PPI...PPI...PPI...

I didn't mean to imply "investment," and should have noted accordingly. In fact, I just spent $3k in repairs & maintenance on my car.

I agree that they probably won't go up in value, but if they do, I think the SC has the better chance over the 3.2 or 964.

Thanks again Murph.... I have found over the years if you do your homework and some of your own work on the car you can own these things for a year or two at very reasonable expenses. I actually regret selling my RS America to Tim Holt, in todays market that car would be worth at least what I sold it for 5 years ago, even with the miles I would have put on.

I have opened a dialog with this seller and I'll see what he's got to say as the auction progresses.

Actually, looking at your past and present lineup, I feel line I was preaching to the choir!

Yes I have had an odd ball line up over the years and its ebbed and flowed with the markets. We added a brand new model last Aug and he's just about ready to start crawling. He's been the focus of my attention since Aug but I am getting the bug for another car again.

I like the 3.0 carreras - they are fun to drive. The euro's have a little more HP - I would think with the SSI's that little car would scoot.

Verry tossable - update the suspension with thicker sways and bilstein sports and they handle like a go-kart.

Good luck - and congrats on the addition.
