Installed the M&K a few weeks ago and loved the sound. In fact, I thought I was done. But after hearing some sound clips with the the cat bypass installed, I had to do the same. Hearing other people's clips helped me decide. So I thought I would post mine to help those on the fence about making the change (also, just because I love the sound and couldn't resist posting).

Yes. It was noticeably milder with the packing.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bash Ben or anything - I liked both sounds. It'd be worth serious $$ to me (however) to get the tone of the Fabspeed Cat & Muffler bypass by with 10+ db quieter volume.
The M&K also was lighter than the Bursch too, making it a good buy all around.
