Default First Show....First Place

Just had to brag on my little blue Targa. Entered it in its first car show last Saturday and it brought home a beautiful first place trophy. It was an open car show so the class was defined as Imports pre-70 to '87. Competition was tough with some really nice cars and a great time was had by all. Just love a southern car show, country music and BBQ all day long and the weather was perfect. Great Targa weather so the best part of the day was the drive to and from the event.

Porsches and BBQ. That sounds perfect. Congratulations. But come on now, show us some more pictures.

Congratulations! No one can resist a Targa. Hey, did you have to do a lot of serious cleaning like getting every nook and cranny or ??

I went over it pretty good the week before the show but not like I would have for a Porsche parade. I'm not quite as meticulous as I was in my younger days.

Nicely detailed engine compartment! I yearn for the days of the wide open
spaces of the 3.2 engine compartment... OK, it's not wide open but there's
alot more space than my 993 has!

Thank you for taking such good care of that beautiful Carrera. I was around some autocrossers this weekend and their focus is on performance and not on maintenance of these fine autos.
