try LAPD. I think they are in silmar, california. they dismantle everything 911.

tcb, I think you mean a 11 blade fan. They didn't make a 9 blade, only the 5 blade. I've never seen nor heard of a 9 blade.

Thanks, You are correct Spider911, I have no idea where I got five blade from, maybe my ceiling fan.

tcb, if youhave a 5 blade it could have been put on by a previous owner (PO). Porsche did put 5 bladed fan on car in the mid 70's model up for a few years, but I think the Carrera's (84-89) came with 11 blade fans because they improved the cooling significantly. Good luck in finding one.

Thanks for a couple of places I didn't know about. I'll call tomorrow morning. Our host has one on stock that I'll buy if I don't find a used one tomorrow. I'm anxious to get the car back on the road. The fan cracked the first day I had it out of storage.
