Congrats!
I recently drove from RI to Kissimmee FL, then back again, and the entire trip back I was really wishing I'd been able to bring the 911 Cab instead of the minivan.

Absolutely, that is what a Porsche was built for. There's some great roads if you're willing to put miles on your car all the way up from North Georgia to Maine. The TOD is of course one of the best. I was also impressed with some of the roads in Western PA (from Pittsburgh east to about Hershey) along the Susquahanna (sp?) river.

Similar story: My first drive was a 1,000 mile trip to Michigan on M-22 along the coast for a camping trip. We stuffed 2 sleeping bags, a tent, 2 chairs, 2 backpacks, 4 pairs of shoes, 2 carry-on-sized luggages, 2 coolers, an air mattress with electric pump, a propane grill, flashlights, and 2 cases of beer in the car. Plenty of room. 25 mpg on the highway.
After the trip, the fiancee remarked that no other seats were as comfortable.
