Default 911 80 SC, 1st or 2cd, which syncro has the groove on the face

911 80 SC, 1st or 2cd, which syncro has the groove on the face.

In my irrational exuberance I took off and replaced both syncros with out paying attention to this minor detail.... it was late, does that make it OK!

IF you look at the syncros both 1st and 2cd look the same from the rough side, except one have a radial groove that runs around the side of one of the syncros.
Thanks
Bruce

Thanks,
Great first = groove

, Ok now keep the shinny side up, hope this is not related to the syncro.

BTW, RTFM would of been a better answer. I have the Haynes and Bentley, both have the answer, but it was late and forgot my extensive library!
