Roll bar cover removal
Hi all,
I understand that to remove the targa bar cover I need to remove the rear top seal, unscrew the series of screws along the bar, and get at the 4 bolts under the wheel wells. My question is how do I get to the 2 bolts on the passenger side? There seems to be some kind of cylindrical part in the way of the bolts. Also, is it not advisable to drive the car to the shop w/ the cover off and approximately how much should it cost me to have it professionally painted body color (black). Thanks very much in advance!

Just went through this myself a few months ago. The cylindrical canister under the RR fender is the for the evaporative emissions system. It's held in place by a single metal strap. Remove the bolt from the strap and you can easily remove the canister and gain access to the bolts for the targa bar cover.
