Default SC vs. Carrera Muffler

I have an 81 SC with a stock muffler and I also have a nice condition 3.2 Carrera muffler in the attic. Is there any difference in exhaust restriction between the two or are they essentially the same design?

Thanks!

They are essentially the same. The only difference is that you can put a Carrera muffler on the SC, but the SC muffler won't fit easily on the Carrera. The 3.2 motor has a Y pipe going to both heat exchangers for the heating system. The Carrera muffler has an indention in it to accomodate the Y pipe. I'd use the Carrera one on the SC.
