Default How low can I go?

Personally I have been told I can go pretty low!
But what about my 86 911?
I'm about to put the steering rack spacers in and wonder if I can go lower than the usual 25 1/2/25 Euro heights.
The last time I set up the car to these specs we had to raise the car a bit to corner balance and I ended up a little higher.
Thanks in advance.

Rod:

There are many opinions on this subject,...

Ride height is dictated by the need to maintain proper suspension travel. Failure to provide sufficient travel results in a car that handles like a park bench,...

If one wants to properly lower a car more than Euro spec, then one needs to install struts with raised spindles and shorter rear shocks. In those cases, a Bump Steer kits is recommended since rack spacers kits are insufficient to minimize bump steer.

Bottom line: Lower is not better unless you do it right.

Thanks Steve!
I want to keep the set up as I have it.
My desire is not to "slam" the car, just maybe another 1/2".
I just want to be prepared when I corner balance so I don't end up going to 26/27 or something.
I know I'm slicing hairs here, but as you know, I don't want to cut any corners.
thanks

Rod: Steve is so right. My E/P SCCA car (914) was on the deck, but to get it there and still have it work took, well, work. The front spindles were raised 19mm and had gussetts, the rear had welded on receivers for the lower shock bolts, and we worked on the shock towers (monoball + body clearance) at all four corners. The key is shock travel, you must have that and if you go past Euro height you risk losing it!

Ah the masters giving me advice again.
It's good to be me!
Okay, I'll stick with 25 1/2 - 25.
Now I'm cocerned I might be lower than I think because I'm using height and not angle like I really should be.
A little wiggle room?

Isnt it a lil bit lower than euro with excellent results? There should be some pics available and guys may post measurements. I could measure mine for you but will be until several days.

Professional tech to adjust ride height and corner balance.

I vaguely recollect but 25 1/2 -25 is nice and low I think.
