Hi all,
I'm considering the purchase of an '83 SC Coupe in the Rochester area and was hoping someone could point me to a good shop or mechanic for a proper PPI. I'm way down south (Alabama) and would prefer not to use the local dealer if at all possible.
Thanks

I have done that and sent a couple messages off to the local officers. I haven't heard anything back so I thought I'd check with the Rennlisters as well.
Thanks

I bought my car from CDI about three years ago. CDI was pretty good to deal with - seemed like good guys.
I had the PPI done at another shop based on the recommendation of a friend of a friend. If i had to do it again, i would have the PPI done somwhere other than where i had it done. For that reason, I won't make a recommendation and simply stick to feedback on my experience with CDI.

My PPI experience wasn't bad. I just have a suspicion that i may not have gotten all that i paid for cuz some of the information i was provided seemed a little too good and consistent, if you know what i mean. I was of course blinded by the excitment so didn't think to do anything about it at the time. They did miss a couple of obvious things like cruise not woking, spoiler wall broken and a paint issue but otherwise provided some good feedback and insight into the car.
I'll send a PM to the OP.
