Default PCA SPEED EVENT @ CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY

Stopped by the california speedway this morning to see quite a show. The first question was "are you going to race your car on the track?" aaah, no...$10.00 to see what was going on wasn't so bad. just seing the cars in the parking lot was a show in it's self. seeing 30 porsches at 100+mph into hair pins was also worth the $10.00. What else is there to do besides sitting by the fence? Is the public welcome or was I tresspassing???

from a business standpoint, visitors/ooglers are welcome. It makes a little extra $.

Douglas - you are more than welcome at the event this weekend. $10 for spectators gets you into nearly anywhere at the track. For $25 you can do a track tour where you drive your car on the track behind a "pace" car. Usually 2 runs at lunch time. Its safe and you get a whole new perspective. You get at least 2 laps. I did this today and lets just say I saw a fun speed crossing the start/finish line. More info and schedule at the PCA Zone 8 website. The picture below is me just past the start/finish line. The blue 912 is my father.
