Post Weber rebuild

After several attempts I have decided to send my Weber IDAs off for a professional rebuild. Before I plop down a big chunk o' change (I was told it would cost as much as $800?) I'd like to find out who I should send them to. Who is the resident Weber Guru in the Porsche world?? I would appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences from anyone who has dealt with a Weber specialist. Thank you in advance!

I think your best bet is Eurometrix in Campbell, Ca . Their # is 408-296-1533,
Norbert Eberhardt, I believe, is the contact.

David (Howard):

Eurometrix relocated to the Boston area a few years ago after Norbert passed away.

Contact them at (978) 448-2557, Norbert's son is running the outfit and they do excellent work.

You will have to make some oversize throttle shafts and bushings. Only the standard ones are available now, and its the body that wears out.

Gasket kits are still available, of course.
