I just purchased a 1985 Factory Turbo Look from Redding CA. The car was orignially sold by Allen Prosche in Burbank CA (no longer in business).
I found a recipt in the car from Woodville Washington from 1998. I called the closest Porsche dealer (Barrier Motors in Bellevue WA) who said they never worked on the car.
Carfax states that the car was in Washington form 1997 to 2004. I have called several local Porsche shops in the are but no one seems to remember working on this 911.
The previous owner I bought the car from purchased the car from Champoinship Motors in Redmond WA. The guys at Championship can not by law give me the name of the customer they bought the car from. He did say a couple of things that may help.
1) They bought the car from the wife of a retired doctor
2) The family has moved away
3) the Licence plate was UWO1994 (looks like a personal plate who knows what UWO stands for?)
This is a factory Turbo Look car 1985 Red with black top and tan interior. Not many around so if a shop worked on it they would most likely remember. I also dont think a doctor would typically do his own maintenance.
It was in the WA area for over 15 years. I really would like to build a service history on this so ANY help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Try this place:
http://www.woodinvillesportscars.com/index.html
Always have a ton of E-types and other cool stuff outside...
I bet that's where the Mystery Receipt came from...
Good luck!

Eric,
Thanks for the lead. I called them and they dont work on Porsche. I also sent an email to the PCA folks in the NE region. I hope they can help. I have called over ten shops and no one can seem to help without the previous owners name.

I made some progress! Chris' German Auto Service, did work on the car in 1996 with 17,000 miles. He replaced the alternator. He gave me the name of the owner in 1996 and his license plate. (phone numbers were no longer active).
Now I have some more info to work with. I will call the shops again armed with some more information.
It had Hawaii License plate FRS 770. This should make it even more unique.

This is what it looks lke now. I put the original Fuchs 7 X 16 and 8 X 16. (Jim these were your old 8 X 16). Also replaced the box rockers with original rockers.
I got it with very little history so I am trying to fill the missing years.
