Mid TN Fun Run #1: 4/14/07

This will be my last post on this topic before the blessed event. Looking forward to meeting all that have replied and more of you who haven't. Looks like we may have at least 10-15 cars showing up... we'll see.
We will meet between 0930-1000 at the truckstop with the Arby's on the north side of the I-40 exit 143. Let's plan on leaving at 1000. I have not heard a lot of feedback yet on doing the long or short route, so I guess we can play it by ear. My opinion is that if any person can only do the short route, that is what we'll do. Hope the weather holds for us. Looking forward to meeting up with you guys. If you do not mind, please email me one more time ifyou plan to attend... There are two routes to choose from (long(2.5 hours) and short(1.5 hours)), but both are basically the same area. They will start in Buffalo, TN which is on the interstate (I-40 exit#143). Buffalo is about halfway between Memphis and Nashville - closer to Nashville. There are plenty of places there to get a bite for breakfast. Also plenty of large gas stations. The drive will head southeast towards Meriwether-Lewis National Monument and then to Hohenwald for lunch. From Hohenwald, there is a nice drive home in either direction depending on where you are returning. Thought we could do a group photo somewhere at the Meriwether-Lewis stop. Any photographers want to attend?!
