Default Well folks, I found one...

I'd seen this car listed at almost $30,000 for the last couple weeks...
The price went down recently, and I noticed it today so I though I'd check it out.

It followed me home.
1985. Only 37,000 miles since new.

$22k

There were other people there watning to take the car for drives, one guy was seriously interested. I didn't want to let it slip by...I coulnd't get in for a PPI today, the earliest time would have been Monday or Tuesday.
However, I felt real good about the car. They put it on a lift, and I took a good long look underneath.
I will, however, take it in for a PPI (POST Purchase inspection) at the begining of the week...and if anything glaring comes up, I'll drive it right back through thier front window. But, I'm told there is a three day "return if it's f'ed up" law hee in WA. Anyone know about this for sure?

Here's some pics...

Wow! Look like another Rennlister scored a find. Great color combo and I love the clean no sunroof/no spoiler look.

Sometimes a PPI just is not in the cards and you have to make a gut decission. Looks like it never was exposed to salt.

Check the battery area fully though...for any possible acid damage. Engine looks tight with only the valve cover gaskets weeping.

Makes me want to look again for a second car to park next to my '89 SA.

Enjoy!

Nice car Wolfe glad you found one. I love the No Sunroof look. However I noticed that is has no back spolier I you intend to track this car like you do the 924S I would but the rear spolier one or take the front on off as they have funny handling with only one spolier on the car. And lets face it Pacific Raceways isn't the smoothest track to begin with

Couple guys from Autocross this morning though it might be due to it being a Canadian Car. Got someone to drive it, who has a similar car, and all he could say was "WOW" multiple times. Buy of a lifetime, he said.

By the way, she now has a name. Tupelo Honey
Why? Because on the way home, while driving the 924S, The Van Morrison tune came on the radio, and mine eyes just could not contain the waterworks....
