The Porsche P201 engine yoke is about $650 and a copy of the tool from Pelican Parts, etc is about $225. Are there any reasons I should not buy the copy. Also, do these yokes fit in a standard engine stand or is the diameter of the yoke too large or too small for the standard engine stand. If so, what do people do other than cutting and welding a larger tube on the stand?

The Pelican yolk supports at least 800lbs so you can use it without worry. It slides right into a standard engine stand.
