Voltage Regulator
1983 Porsche 911 SC...
Replaced Alt. aprox. 5K miles ago. with brand New unit.
Last Night the car gave the same indication as previous alt failure. i.e. erratic guage behavior, tach spiking, radio on/off, etc.
I have removed the alt. from the car.
My question is: Can I, in any way, bench test the now removed internal Voltage Regulator?
