Hi:
40mm carbs are too small for a 3.2 with those cams. You should use 160 mains, for sure. The rest looks OK but emulsion tubes are important and you didn 't say what they are.
I would be using 46 PMO's with 38mm venturies on tall manifolds with 46mm tops and 39-40mm bottoms.
Exhaust is VERY important for HP & torque. What do you have?

thanks for the reply,
the emulsion tubes have a 3 stamped on the bottom, the choke has a 36 inscribed and the auxilliary venturi has a 4.5 stamped. The exhaust has headers and a stainless turbo muffler with a single exhaust.
