I've had a couple of run ins with S2000s and have come out on top both times. I agree that the driver has a lot to do with it. After dusting one guy, he pulled up behind me at a light, took a closer look at my Carrera moniker, shook his head and turned at the next light. Made my day.

we had a supercharge one come through on trade in, lots of us took it around the block and were unimpressed. That was just one car though, it could have been out of tune

s2000 has to be driven on cam. a good s2k driver rarely let the engine drop below 7k rpm. it is easily as fast if not faster than 911's.

I had a friend that had a S2000 when I had my RS America. He definitely knew how to drive it and always had it 7K and above. I would pull four to five car lengths on him any time he tried me. It was NEVER even close. Still a great autoX car.

Hey JRoss,

Your car looks great in your avitar. I'm unofficially looking for the same to have along with my current Cab.. Can you give me some info. on yours along with some pictures for my screen saver. You know...if the right thing is found at the right time perhaps I'll be smiling from ear to ear as I'm sure you are. Beautiful car!!!
