Mike, I don't have pictures....but it is fairly easy.....I didn't use all of the other options on the keyless module. I used the power door lock and the trunk release option. I am not a fan of alarm horns and lights blinking....I mounted the control unit in the trunk. The biggest problem was running the wires from the door to the inside of the car. It was a tad difficult going through the existing grommets....but doable....I am assuming you now have manual locks....and the kit converts to power with a keyless function.
Would like to do this for a 964 but it does not have spade terminals rather some round plugin connections. Anyone know if there is an adapter? I hate to cut off the original terminals---Bill
You could make a connector using a spade connector on one end and a female round connector at the other end (the end that would connect to the existing wiring that has male connectors)
i have just instaled these problem is i changed the lighting toi red using leds but when i press the driver side switch for the passenger window the led goes off bu only when window is going down is this a wiring problem or something to do with the led
Just a thought here: I would think that the orig "paddle style" of the OEM switch would be easier to actuate. I know it's easy for me; darkness would make no diff. Not to mention that pressing a button inward given their location would contort your arm/wrist. Much easier to push up/down on the porsche switch, IMHO. Does look very cool, though.

You probably are getting out of it, what you put into it, based on your style of posting.
I get bugged when I have to read all lower case letters with no punctuation and so-so English, especially when they ask for help. Then, you look at 500+ posts and still a "user", what can I say?

+1. Capitalization and punctuation is common courtesy. It makes for an easier read. I can live with misspellings, typos and occasional shortcuts. We all make mistakes. I also admire and look forward to international posters adding their ideas and thoughts on these boards. Even though English is not their native language, at least they make an effort. I applaud you.
I just can't stand laziness. It's a product of the text messaging phenomenon.
Before someone jumps on me for being critical, please understand that English is not my native language. Proof the proper grammar can be taught.
ed hughes dont read it if it p****** you of
if you dont have anything constructive to say about the problem then dont bother posting and wasting my time, didnt come on here for a lecture on the english language and besides who do you think you are lol
Drivers side and passenger side lighted switches at night
Are these swiches available in any colors other than red. I've seen the newer style BMW switches with the post vs spade connectors with green or blue plastic backs but don't know if this also means that the lighting is that color.
