I put the Toyo Proxe R-1's on about 1300 miles ago. Had them on the track at Summit for 2 days, and they seemed to peform very well, and certainly at a reasonable price. However, it was my first DE in an 88 Carrera, and I spent more time getting used to the car's handling, shift points, etc,, and not concentrating on the tires as much. Still, with some subsequenbt spirited driving, they seem to be a good value.

does anyone have an opinion (good or bad) on the toyo proxes4's that came on my '88 911? it's my first 911 and they are brand new and I love them....well, I love the car. the four toyo's and the interstate battery are the only non-stock items i have found so far. What do you think? it's a sundays only ragtop down beach cruizer, not a track star.
