FWIW, my LLoyds mats come equipped with nylon straps and quick-disconnect clips. The straps have hooks on the one end and they 'thread' through the seat rail frames to attach to the backside (in rear seat footwell area). The clips then have adjustability for making the straps longer or shorter, thus holding the mats in place.

I got the clips today. I took a quick look at the seat and am not sure how they need to be attached. I think I will look again friday when I am off at noon and can see better. Thanks. I really have a problem with the mat moving in the 964

Edit: ok I saw the picture on page one. I guess I need to loosen a bolt. Definatly a job for the daylight!

Cool

Jim, did you get the stuff I left in your front door???

Anyway,

Mine came in yesterday as well. I went and got my car last night and will be installing them tomorrow. You do need to loosen the seat bolts to install it. Seems simple enough to install... heck, I might do the install now...

It looks like we might have some work to do to get it to fit in the 996TT

For starters, there is a cover in the front of the rail covering the access to the bolt.

I could try to bend it so it would go under the cover then bend into the base of the rail once I undo the bolt. Will work on it tonight when I get home.

You probably have all the testers needed but I wanted to tell you not only do 911s have this problem but both of my Mercedes' suffer from "floor mat creep". Let me know if they work for other cars - I'll be happy to test them in my MB and 911 - or buy a set if need be.

funny I dont have this problem at all but looks like a great product, very nice 308, a friend of mine had one, I'm 6'3 and could barely get in the thing, my knees were pretty much inline with the middle of the steering wheel, looked like super mario carts, by far one of the prettiest cars ever made!

The idea is great, but it does not work in my car. My seat rails are not on the floor. They are raised about 3 inches from the floor. If you email me your address I will return them to you, because I threw out the envelpoe the other day.
