Default Shift **** removal

Hey folks
any suggestions on how to remove a shift **** from the shifter on a Carrera?
Have my new momo ready and cant get it off

If its a G50 trans you remove the shifter emblem from the **** by prying it out. There is a nut under that is removed and then you can switch *****. As for the 915 trans...well not sure about them.

Default Shift ****

Hey Frank,

Your car looks sweet. Which Momo shift **** did you buy?? I just got a new one also....let us know how the switch went and perhaps a pic or two!?!?!

on the 915 you bang it upwards..... then repair roof liner ....

Well actually no .... I have a targa .. in my case I banged up after hitting the block and then could not cut the lawn for a week while I looked for it .. true story ...

I ask because I know what a pain it is to get it off... not fun to do while trying not to tear anything up!
