I believe you'll have a sticker under the front trunk hood listing the option codes, possibly in your drivers handbook, too. If not, call Porsche at 800-PORSCHE, give customer service your VIN, and they'll tell you what option codes are on your 911. They don't know what the codes mean, but you'll be looking for a "220" option, which is the limited slip differential.

The most sure way to see if your car has an LSD is raise both rear wheels off the ground with a floor jack and do "the test".
With the transmission in neutral, grab one rear wheel and rotate it. If the other rear wheel rotates the same direction as you are turning, you have an LSD. If the other side wheel rotates in the opposite direction, then you have an open differential.
