Rear Shocks Revalving Question
I'm looking at getting a pair of rear Bilstein shocks that have one DE season on them. They are the ralley setting, which is the firmest. It is the one above the Sport setting. Bilstein's website says these are not for the street.
My intention is to get them revalved by Bilstein to match my rear 29mm torsion bars. I imagine the compression/rebound would have to be lowered from the ralley setting?
Anyway...do these sound like a good canidate to get revalved?

Probably only if it overall costs less than the Sports. I find the Sports quite stiff on Seattle's bumpy highways on my SC. But I have sports on in the front too. Ask Steve W.

At the end of the day it'll basically cost the same as buying a new pair of rear Sports. But instead I'll have rebuilt shocks that are specifically valved to my torsion bars.

Steve Weiner @ Rennsport Systems has all the data. He took into account the torsion bars, car weight, tires/wheels used, hp...to figure the compression/rebound settings. It is not as expensive as buying new, and they are custom valved for your specific car. Give him a call...
