Default 70's Bumpers

Hey guys! I'm looking at buying a 1970 porsche. The previous owner put on a later style front and rear bumper (89-93?). Now the rear is damaged to the point of no repair. Who makes these bumpers? Do OEM ones bolt right up?

Also, since we're on the subject, are the bodies from 70 to early 90's exactly the same? (ie. rear, quarters, fenders doors)

Thanks in advance for any help!

The basic 'greenhouse' of the car was the same from 1969 to 1994. But the body panels changes in small ways, first, with the lips of the flares, then with impact bumpers in 1974, then rear flares in 1978 and almost all new bolt-on panels in 1990.

If your front and rear bumpers were updated, then in front you'll need the old hood, fenders and bumper. In back you'll need a license plate panel piece and rear bumper.

Thanks soo much for the information!

Is there any aftermarket bumper kits for the 70 911s? I'm having a hard time finding a rear up here in the Great White North! Even Ebay dosn't have anything.

I don't know that anyone makes them anymore. With the value of the pre-1974 911's climbing so fast, there are more people backdating than updating.
