Didn't mean to offend - just irritated by the curiousity pertaining to the ability of a particular automobile to defeat the objective of getting underway quickly by spinning it's wheels and polluting the atmosphere with even more crap (which in the case of Porsche's also ammounts to serious abuse).
I'm particularly sensitive to this because I got rid of my modified "99" 375 hp 6spd Corvette hardtop (the one the first generation Z06 was based on this model) which would spin it's rears until the wheel rims inscribed the pavement to hub depth, to return to a classic light weight (yeah, it's a 2500 lb RoW SC not an RSR) sports car that goes around corners quickly without the drama of herding a ton and a half of cup holders, 1000,000 mega watt stereo, "where the **** am I" satelite "Where the **** am I?" devices, etc. bulk .
Sheeesh
You're missing the point of 911ness completely if the answer to such a question truly intrigues you.
My buddy, years ago, had an MGA w/a 350 Chevy small block in it that would break the rear tires loose at 70 mph - Big ******* Deal !!.
How fast can you drive into a brick wall without crushing the front clip to the extent that you bruise your prissy, whatever color, knee caps?
Why the **** even ask such a stupid question?
I'm glad I didn't have you as a teacher. You are a mean person who can't spell **** right.

I could also ask if anyone has a picture of someone clubbing a baby seal...but that doesn't mean I'm going to club a baby seal..."Sheeeesh" I would just be curious if someone had a pic. Sounds logical enough to me...
fausto, get that pretty white cab , and a gallon of clorox rain forest[to please the ecology minded folk] scented bleach , and a video cam and please post some burn out video for us . still pics will do too. thanks.
p.s. kumho now offers a tire that will make blue smoke when doing burn outs. enjoy.

DARISC - You are a choad. This is a forum about Porsche cars. People come here to find out information on Porsche cars. He asked a legitimate question. Everybody gets to do with their Porsche as they see fit. We are not muslim extremists here that try to make everyone live their way or the highway. After all, you bought the ugliest (and the slowest ) Porsche color out there but I won't hold it against you.

My mother is Canadian you ^%#%^$#%^#.
What's a choad?
I know what the forum is about.
It's an absolutely legitimate question he asked.
My also legitimate response was meant to reflect that, whether one chooses to do so or not (I personally don't care as long as it's not my car), it's a stupid abuse of ANY car (yeah, I did it a bunch of times myself when I was a kid).
Is it evocative of Muslim extremism to voice an opinion that a particular abusive act is a stupid thing to do? I have no reason to think that the asker or the question is stupid - just the act.
I don't care how you live or if you care how I live as long as we don't infringe on each other's rights (you're probably an alright guy; I know I am).
My car is NOT as ugly as I am! And its color is five mph faster than your color!
I like Canadians and wouldn't dream of insulting one (to my knowledge, Canuck is not a derogatory term - I apologize if I'm wrong).

I get it Its just there has to be some guy out there trashing the IRS with smokey burnouts........
I have done corners in mine and with the LSD it swings out fast and hard.. scarry but being who I am I stayed in it. HEHEHE
Fausto...Hmmm food. I really shouldnt but...woohoo! Ill be in Dallas wednesday, however its a quick turn around, however should be up there with my freshly tuned and chipped beasty the following week. Looking forward to it...we should do a full on call out to other Pcars in area for a solid grunt and squeak session....
Frank
It used to be that the price of purchasing a 911 kept most of the idiots from having access to them to do stuff like this. Apparently, the price has come down to that of say, a used Honda...
Funny O edgy one. Looks like a car killer for sure.
I like to drive endurance style. Want the car to be there at the end. With a 911, it just might outlast me.
Loaded; I miss your old avatar. The kid just cracked me up, and I swear you could ask anything and get away with it. BTW I have a Fiat Abarth Rep. , and it loves the sideways stuff. I never feel like I am beating it just horsing it around. But it is a rally car, and made for it.
