Default Question for anyone who has recovered their seat

Hi Guys

As the title says ...

I just about have the old seat cover off but there seams to be a few metal rods runing inside the foam on the seat bottom , two running down the seat and one across. How do I get these out without totally destroying the seat sponge ? I can see metal straping from the bottom but thought I would ask before hacking away and regretting it .

Thanks

The metal rods should be held in by D rings that can be cut with snips by spreading the seam in the foam they are in. When installing new covers you will need D ring pliers to close the new D rings.

Ice,

Are you putting a new seat cover on? If so, that would be awesome to see how you do it.
