Default 1969 911e Battery Question

Battery seems to not hold charge after a week or so of sitting in the garage. I'm thinking I might need a new battery. Any suggestions on what and where I can go to get one?? I'm in San Diego, CA

One or both batteries might be defective. Your best bet is to pull both of them out of the car, charge both fully and then load test them. Most Sears stores are equipped to help with this project. Perhaps Brett (from SD) will read this and advise regarding an independent shop.

After the batteries are recharged and load checked (assuming they are good), make sure the cables are good and have no corrosion on them or up the wire inside the cable. Also make sure you have good grounding on both. Even if you might have to buy new batteries, you need to ensure all connections are good and there is no corrosion.
